Air, Land or Water

One of the popular themes so far this year has been our “Air, Land or Water” materials. Part of our Montessori Science curriculum, these works can come in a variety of forms; check out two of them here.

This lovely mat depicts air, land and sea environments, and students are invited to place the animals into their correct environment. Advanced students may further differentiate between, say, mountains and grass, or freshwater and seawater.
