This new school year has brought with it some brands new works on our shelves: flowers and dinosaurs.
With the help of our awesome parent community who brought in some cut flowers, we are happy to offer a flower-arranging tray for our students. To complete this multi-step work, they are asked to choose from the available stems, choose a vase, cut the stems to appropriate length, put water in the vase, and arrange the flowers. The student then places the vase in a spot of their choice in the classroom.
Several of our other new works are based on the theme of dinosaurs, including making tracks (see the white play-dough, below), placing stones in a one-to-one activity (also below) as well as some tracing and counting materials.
