Last week we unveiled the playground’s newest feature, the Mud Box. Children’s love of digging is part of their connection to Nature. The Mud Box does have an open bottom, so they can dig into the Earth itself–without getting their clothes too dirty.
Yesterday, our little artists learned to make their own ink. With Dorte’s guidance, they make ink out of Spinach and then used it on some art!

In today’s meeting our students practiced their yoga, and discussed its benefits. “To breathe” and “to get strong” were some of the students’ reasons as to why we benefit from yoga.

Usually, we eat outside under the trees, but today we had to eat inside: …and then we couldn’t run around and play after lunch. But we had fun watching the rain make rivers in the playground!
